1. First, you need isopropyl alcohol, some cotton swabs and a clean cloth or kitchen paper. 
2. Once you have the above resources all ready to go, start by unplugging the grinder.
3. Make sure all residue is out of your grinder. Tap the top of both sides well a few times so that all the residue falls out. Be careful not to damage the pins of the grinder while doing this. 
4. Optionally, you can soak your grinder in isopropyl alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes for extra good cleaning. 
5. Put some isopropyl alcohol on your cotton swab and go along the grooves of the inside of the grinder. Make sure you include all the tricky spots so you can be sure to get your grinder completely clean. 
6. Finally, you can rinse your grinder with some warm water. Make sure you only do this with materials where this is possible, such as plastic.
7. After cleaning, dry your grinder carefully.
