General:

The EZ Test Kit for Ketamine, PMA/PMMA, Amphetamine and Ecstasy (MDMA) detects the presence of these substances and displays different colours for Ritalin, 2-AminoIndane (a research chemical), PMA/PMMA and (meth)amphetamines. It is the only test kit on the market for PMA/PMMA and can help identify potentially harmful substances often found in street drugs. Usage:

The Mandelin test is a recent addition to the EZ test range and is designed to detect the presence of ketamine or PMA. Although the Markies test is still the primary test for detecting ecstasy, the Mandelin test can help identify many other substances that are increasingly common. The test changes colour for all ecstasy-like substances MDMA, MDA, MDE, MBDB, (meth)amphetamine, ketamine, PMA, 2-amino-indane and methylphenidate (Ritalin). The attached information sheet and colour chart should correspond to these different substances. All EZ tests use a chemical reagent that is absorbed in silica gel and contained in a glass ampoule. Upon reaction with the sample, there will be a colour change that should be compared with the colour chart in the instructions.

Instructions:

Step 1 - Prepare some of the substance for analysis. Only a small amount is needed, about a volume of 2 mm by 2 mm.

Step 2 - Tap the unopened ampoule against a hard surface several times to make any particles sticking to the side of the ampoule fall down.

Step 3 - Hold the ampoule in one hand and break off the top part along the break line, using thumb and forefinger.

Step 4 - Hold the ampoule upright and transfer your sample into the ampoule. After this, place the cap on the opened ampoule. ** Ehrlich and cannabis tests have a small pellet in the cap that acts as a catalyst and should also be added. ** ** A simple method to add your substance is to simply add the sample to the top of the cap and place the cap on the opened ampoule. **

Step 5 - Allow the sample and reagents/pellet to mix. A gentle shake and swirl may help.

Step 6 - Compare the colour change (if any) with the colours on the colour chart provided with the packaging. Each colour change should fully develop within 1-2 minutes.

Step 7 - When done, place the used ampoule in a sealed bag and dispose of it responsibly. Please do not just throw it away.
